The wrong tier of equipment is the expensive tier—whether you paid too much for power you never use, or saved a few dollars on something that can't handle your actual workload. Neither cost shows up on the invoice.

There is no universal answer to "what should I buy for my facility?" But there's a universal method: match the tier to your cleaning load, calculate total cost of ownership including maintenance, and stick to a preventive schedule. The cheapest equipment you'll ever own is the equipment you maintain properly.
